Lucas SlickMist Driver Tomy Drissi Wins Fourth Pole Award at Brainerd International Raceway

Brainerd, MN (July 22, 2021) – Trans Am Championship Presented by Pirelli competitor, Tomy Drissi, piloted the Lucas SlickMist Camaro by Burtin Racing to his fourth Motul Pole Position Award of 2021. The veteran driver fought a damaged car mid-race and pulled off second place overall, gaining valuable championship points in for the 2021 season.

“I was able to run away with the lead for nearly half the race with a damaged splitter before the caution came out. I knew once those Mustangs started working together on the restart, they were going to be hard to keep behind me, but we were able to get one of the positions back from Dyson as the car started coming back. Ernie was too far ahead to catch up to but both are great competitors.” said Drissi “I can’t thank Lucas Oil SlickMist and the crew at Burtin Racing enough for such a fast car and for all the support. It was great being back on podium at Brainerd and seeing all the fans come out for the Trans Am racing and the Lucas car.”
